What you'll do

  • Analyze revenue, customer, and flight data (SQL/Python/R) to run exploratory and ad‑hoc analyses that uncover trends and drivers, informing pricing, policy strategies and day‑to‑day decisions.
  • Translate ambiguous business questions into measurable analyses, framing hypotheses, defining success metrics, and quantifying impact to guide strategic trade‑offs.
  • Build and productionize automated pipelines, dashboards, and alerts that turn analyses into repeatable decision support—improving revenue outcomes and customer experience at scale. Analyze customer behavior and segmentation to identify opportunities (e.g., fare sensitivity, channel effects, market dynamics) and recommend targeted actions.
  • Partner cross‑functionally (Pricing, Yield, Network Planning, Digital/Customer
  • Experience, IT) to operationalize insights and track realized impact.
  • Develop clear narratives and visualizations that communicate complex results to technical and non‑technical stakeholders, enabling faster, more informed decisions. Continuously monitor, measure, and iterate on analytical solutions and processes to improve accuracy, speed, and business impact. All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications

- Education & Prior Job Experience Bachelor's degree with significant coursework in a quantitative discipline (Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Computer science, etc.) or equivalent experience/training

Preferred Qualifications

- Education & Prior Job Experience Hands‑on data experience working with large, complex datasets; strong SQL plus proficiency in Python or R for analysis, automation, and reproducibility. Bias for action / go‑getter attitude with ownership mindset; comfortable operating with incomplete information and delivering iterative value quickly. Ability to break down big, ambiguous problems into smaller, testable components; plan and execute analyses that ladder up to strategic recommendations.

Self‑service orientation—skilled at independently finding, understanding, and using available data sources, tools, and documentation to answer questions end‑to‑end. Experience building automated workflows/pipelines (e.g., scheduling/orchestration, data quality checks) and decision‑support dashboards (Power BI/Tableau or similar). Familiarity with experiment design and causal inference (A/B tests or quasi‑experimental methods) to measure impact where feasible.

Strong data storytelling

  • concise writing, compelling visuals, and the ability to tailor messages to executive, business, and technical audiences. Skills , Licenses & Certifications Demonstrated analytical skills, including the ability to assemble information, extract pertinent facts, draw logical conclusions, and present recommendations
  • Familiarity with software programs used in conducting quantitative analysis (Oracle, SAS, etc.) Refined skills in Microsoft Office software (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Self-motivated Effective in a fast-changing environment Ability to work well within a team environment Capable of assimilating and leveraging the team's knowledge in support of ongoing and future projects Skilled in building consensus across an organization
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex technical information across large data sets Excellent problem-solving skills Demonstrated leadership ability
