Data Engineer III Job Locations US-OH-Cleveland | US-TX-Dallas Requisition ID JR1004793 Category Information Technology Position Type Regular Full-Time Overview As a Data Engineer (Analytics Specialist), you will build robust data warehouse/marts/sets which will enable business users to make informed decisions. You will use advanced SQL tools to move large amounts of data and build complex algorithms. Responsibilities Collaborates with stakeholders, data engineers, and data scientists to ensure analytics data needs align with organizational goals and priorities and elevate our business processes. Develops ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it into a format suitable for analysis across AmTrust.
- Create moderately complex data models that describe the relationship between different data entities.
- Develop database schemas that are optimized for querying and analysis.
- Design advanced validation and cleansing processing to identify and fix data quality issues for quality and accuracy of the data throughout Medium-to-Advanced level understanding of business processes of a variety of areas in the company including finance, operations, underwriting, sales, claims, and actuarial to develop a deep understanding of the workflow and the relevant data to produce insights for the larger organization.
- Work with IT resources to integrate data warehouse data, test and validate report building, process automation, and dashboard development. Qualifications 5-10 years minimum experience writing SQL, DAX, SSAS, and creating SSIS Packages
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle, Git, Agile Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent years of work experience. The expected salary range for this role is $80.5K-$125K annually Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only.
