- Design, develop and support data pipelines and highly scalable APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) that provide accurate business data to other business groups within the Firm.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand new and changing business requirements, document them, and deliver software to drive business change.
- Provide data-driven insight and decision-making critical to the Firm’s business processes.
- Develop and maintain data distribution infrastructure hosted on cloud such as Snowflake, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Design, implement and enforce data governance controls in data processes across divisions. Job Requirements Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in job offered or a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and four (4) years of experience in job offered or a related role. Prior experience must include two (2) years of experience (with a Master’s degree) OR four (4) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s degree) with Full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support; Python or Java; developing and supporting ETL jobs and data pipelines; Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) including Structured query language (SQL); control systems including Subversion (SVN) or Git; Cloud platforms including Snowflake, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP); and working with project management tools including JIRA. ©The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., 2026.
