This role requires strong engineering fundamentals, deep SQL/data skills, and the ability to work autonomously—driving delivery from requirements through production release and ongoing support. • Deliver end-to-end through the SDLC design, development, testing coordination, release/deployment, and post-release validation. Diagnose and resolve escalated production issues; improve reliability via monitoring, performance tuning, and root-cause remediation.
  • Contribute to platform modernization initiatives (e.g., upgrades, migrations, infrastructure improvements).
  • Manage multiple workstreams (new features, integrations, maintenance) by prioritizing effectively and communicating trade-offs.
  • Collaborate with engineers across the organization; participate in technical discussions to drive the best solution. Proactively identify and drive improvements in performance, scalability, resiliency, and developer productivity.
  • Mentor junior developers through pairing, reviews, and technical guidance.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional software development experience and a BS/MS in Computer Science (or related discipline) or equivalent practical experience.

  • Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Snowflake, including query design and performance optimization. Full-stack web development experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (jQuery where applicable).
  • Hands-on integration experience with REST and/or SOAP services; comfortable working with JSON/XML.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines. Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision can take ambiguous problems, propose solutions, and drive them to completion.
  • Strong communication skills able to explain technical concepts and trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot or similar) responsibly to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality. High ownership and accountability for delivery quality and production outcomes.
