Find out how you can Make It Possible In this role, the Mammography Imaging Technologist is responsible for the preparation and execution of Mammo procedures. You’ll have an exciting opportunity to warmly greet & welcome patients/visitors/staff & assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams when necessary. Assess patient condition, produce good quality radiographic images, & ensure adherence to safety standards. This is a full time position, located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist, working Monday - Friday from 12:00pm - 8:00pm.
- Preferred Criteria ARRT Advanced modality - Mammo (M) Prior Mammo Tech experience working in a hospital setting Required Criteria High School Diploma or equivalent Graduate from an accredited program in the school of Radiologic Technology N.Y. State Department of Health X-ray License American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification Must obtain at least 24 continuing education credits every 2 years as per ARRT requirements Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
