  • Responsible for managing the daily operations of the biomedical department, including oversight of staff and workflows to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery. Completes all required competencies within the designated introductory period and performs additional related duties as assigned. Reports to the Market BioMed Director. Responsibilities Sets strategic goals and objectives aligned with Carondelet Health Network priorities  Develops and manages annual operating and capital budgets  Oversees daily department operations and staff performance  Makes informed, objective decisions supported by data and facts  Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies  Promotes integrated, efficient, and high-quality service delivery  Communicates effectively across all levels and with internal/external stakeholders
  • Leads people management efforts including hiring, coaching, performance management, and staff development  Maintains safe operations, oversees equipment maintenance, and ensures patient safety standards  Optimizes resources, manages workflows, supports continuous improvement, and responds proactively to change and risks Other duties as assigned Qualifications
  • Minimum Requirements Education Associate’s degree in Biomed or a related field, or equivalent military training/certification.
  • Experience 7 years of progressive experience in Biomedical Department.
  • Preferred Requirements Education Bachelors Degree in Business
