Bachelors degree in engineering (Biomedical, Clinical, Mechanical, Electrical), engineering technology, or related field AND minimum three (3) years of experience in engineering or a directly related field OR Minimum six (6) years of experience in engineering or a directly related field.

Education Education Associate of Arts Degree in Engineering or technical disciplines in plant operations, HVAC, electrical, plumbing or equivalent preferred.

Additional Requirements Preferred Qualifications 7+ years of experience in IT support, contact center platforms, or voice engineering Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise contact center platforms (e.g., NICE CXone, Genesys, Five9) Strong troubleshooting experience in complex, distributed systems environments Experience working within ITIL-based ITSM frameworks (Incident, Problem, Change) NICE CXone (ACD, Studio, Reporting, Admin, Performance Management) Contact center technologies: IVR design and routing.

Basic Qualifications Experience This position requires meeting two (2) of the following skill levels 1) San Bernardino County - Possession of the LA Unlimited Steam Engineers License and EPA Rule 608 Universal Certification or for the Riverside Medical Center -Possession of the LA Unlimited Steam engineers License or the 500 HP LA City Steam License and EPA Rule 608 Universal Certification.

Technical Summary In addition to the responsibilities listed below, this technical leader is also responsible for the planning of the raised floor data center environment, including rack designs, hardware locations, power, cooling, and key data center operational processes.

Implements preventive maintenance programs for the heating, air conditioning, ventilation, water, mechanical and electrical systems and mechanical equipment; performs maintenance checks; repairs systems and equipment; and performs minor electrical, plumbing and carpentry work for all facilities.

Oversees budget and planning for outside resources to perform services out of scope for Facility Engineering team. Essential Responsibilities Prepares individuals for growth opportunities and advancement; builds internal collaborative networks for self and others.

Optimize Performance & Cost Efficiency Tune Spark workloads by applying partitioning, caching, and join optimization strategies; leverage Photon, serverless SQL, and cluster right sizing to improve runtime performance and reduce compute costs. • Collaborate with Data & Platform Teams • Partner closely with Data Scientists, Analysts, SMEs, and Platform Engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions and align on architectural, governance, and operational standards.

Education Associate of Arts Degree in Engineering or technical disciplines in Plant Operations, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or equivalent.

Under general supervision, the Operating Engineer performs a variety of routine or skilled preventive maintenance duties in the repair, alteration, and modification of buildings, equipment and facilities.

Under general supervision of the Maintenance Manager, Chief Engineer, or their designee, and provides continuous mechanical and electrical support service and repairs necessary to effectively maintain the safe operation of Kaiser Permanente facilities.

Must work collaboratively with all other biomedical engineers specialties (Instrumentation, X-Ray, CT/MR, Diagnostic Ultrasound, Nuclear Med, Clinical Laboratory, RT/Anesthesia, Ophthalmology/Lasers, and Clinical Systems Integrations), KPIT, Business Partners, and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) representatives.
