Documentation, Training & Handover • Support creation and handover of equipment documentation including specifications, drawings, FAT/SAT, validation, maintenance and control plans. • Support preparation of operating instructions and troubleshooting documentation. • Support training of site personnel on new equipment and processes. • Support formal handover to Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality teams.

The Engineer 1 role applies foundational engineering principles to support equipment design, supplier execution, installation, validation, and production ramp-up activities under guidance of senior engineers.

EXPERIENCE • A minimum of 12 years engineering experience. • Preferred background is in automated manufacturing equipment, with process development in high volume manufacturing. • Experience with medical devices, in-vitro diagnostic and pharmaceutical products are a plus. • Experience implementing process improvements and launching new equipment into a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities New Product Development & Industrialization • Lead DFMA strategy for new products and product design changes to ensure successful commercialization and transfer to manufacturing. • Partner with R&D during product development to influence design decisions that improve manufacturability, assembly, quality, and cost. • Define and develop scalable manufacturing processes, equipment concepts, and assembly methods for new product introductions. • Lead engineering efforts to build pilot lines and establish capable, efficient manufacturing processes that achieve performance, quality, and OEE targets. • Support internal and external manufacturing transfer activities, including industrialization planning and factory readiness.
